<![CDATA[Early Detection Important for Prostate Cancer ]]> Prostate cancer is the second most common cancer for men in the United States with one in six being diagnosed. Your health is important and we encourage you to take seriously the significance of early detection and prevention. When used appropriately, prostate specific antigen (PSA) test results can diagnose, assess risk and monitor prostate disease. However, the test is not perfect. The Urology Care Foundation suggests men talk to their health care provider about the PSA tests. Based on guidelines and recommendations from the U.S. Preventive Taskforce and the American Urological Association, community wide PSA screening are no longer offered.

Lung cancer is the 2nd most common diagnosed cancer for men and women, but it is the leading cause of cancer deaths. In 2015 alone, there were 221,200 new newly diagnosed cases of lung cancer in the United States. However, if lung cancer is caught early, treatment can help people live a more productive and healthier life. More than 430,000 people alive today have been diagnosed with lung cancer at some point.
