Preceptor Class
For NRHS employees only.
This course is designed to give preceptors the tools necessary for providing new staff an effective orientation experience.
Topics Include:
- Defining Preceptor
- Organizational Documentation
- Assessment of Learning Styles, Knowledge Base, and Skill Level
- Goal Setting
- Verification of Transference of Knowledge
- Effective Feedback

Class is one day in the Learning Resources Department located on the 3rd floor of the Porter Campus. This class is designed for both clinical and non-clinical employees.
