CPR (BLS) Instructor Course & Recertification Course

Designed to prepare the AHA instructor to disseminate information and skills necessary in resuscitation. 1-day class.

American Heart Association Guideline Prerequisite for new instructors:

  • Participant MUST be affiliated with an American Heart Assoc. Training Center.
  • Hold a current American Heart Assoc. BLS Healthcare Provider Card.
  • Complete the American Heart Assoc. BLS Instructor Essentials ONLINE Course (available through NRHS $25) and bring certificate of completion to the class. (MANDATORY for entrance into the class.
  • Purchase a BLS Instructor Healthcare Provider Manual and BLS Provider Book from NRSH ($46).

Fee:

Class is no charge to NRHS Employees ($25.00 for online instructor essentials access key plus cost of instructor and provider manuals)

*Community participants: $200.00
(Includes manual & book, available in the NRHS Education Center)

*Community Recertification: $100.00

Cancellation must be received 24 hours prior to the program. Cancellations after this time or no-shows will be charged a $25 administrative fee
