Unfortunately my mother’s house was the call for two toddler near drownings last Sunday afternoon. I would like to commend your (EMSStat) crew that worked the call. They worked with TRUE compassion and professionalism. As soon as they were on scene they took complete control and just their actions put myself and my family at as much ease as possible under the circumstances. Please let them know that thanks to their quick response and care the girls are with us today. I am thankful to know that I work with such a great group who has compassion and care for their patients. Again, thank you to all that were part of Sunday’s unfortunate events.

I had my baby 4 months ago here at the health plex and the service was terrific. They are so caring and helpful. I went to see my cousin when she had her baby at another hospital and she waited 3 hours on them. The service there was horrible. I recommended the norman health plex. I told her next time she has a baby to come here because the service doesn't get any better than here. Thank you all so much!

I want to thank you for providing the HealthLink telephone service. This morning, I received excellent advice on treating my condition until I could see my physician. Thank you very much.

Recently, my father had a stroke and was taken to your facility. I want to thank the whole staff for the wonderful care, attitude and professionalism they displayed. At a scary time for our family, everyone was so patient and kind. They made us feel they were there just for my father and our family. My father was not there long, as he was transported to Norman, but we appreciate your wonderful help for his brief stay. My father seems to have made a full recovery and is at home now. We are convinced it is due in part to your quick reactions and the way you made him feel at ease. Everything was explained to us, in front of him, so everyone felt we were always part of the team. Keep up the good work!

I am actually writing this from my hospital bed. I was admitted this past Sunday from the ER and it is now in the early hours of Thursday. I am here because of complications from surgery. I want to let the hospital administrators know that your staff here is by far the most outstanding staff of any hospital I have ever come across in my entire 37 years of life. I have had quite a few hospital experiences in my years between myself, my husband, and my son and I have never been treated with the kindness and respect that I have received as a patient in this facility. The nurses have all gone out of their way to help me feel as comfortable as possible. It is never fun being in a hospital, especially for this long. Each nurse has always been positive and gentle, their attitudes have been one of genuine care and concern. They are gracious and encouraging. I want to mention two nurses in particular that have made my stay more comfortable. They are Erin and Nicole on the Women's and Children's Unit. They have been kind enough to take just a few extra minutes to "chat" (not long enough to keep them from their duties, but just enough to encourage me) with me because they knew I was having a hard time. You see I live all the way in Ardmore so I don't get any visitors, and my husband can only come up once in a blue moon because he has a very demanding job. These two ladies have made my stay feel just a little more like home by giving me that feeling of someone going the extra mile for me. Thank you so much for hiring people that care to work in your facility.
