NORMAN - If you are looking for something fun, educational and exciting for the entire family, look no further. Norman Regional Health System’s Healthy Community Coalition and the OSU Extension office is bringing to Norman “Little Sprouts Day Out.”
“Little Sprouts Day Out” is a fun-filled morning at the Norman Farmer Market on July 15 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. You and your child will learn about farm fresh food, take a special garden tour, learn about seasonal fruits and vegetables, take a scavenger hunt shopping for fresh produce and so much more!
A Norman Regional Health System dietitian will be on hand to help guide the two hour tour and teach the children and their parents about the importance of eating healthy and supporting local farmers.
“Little Sprouts Day Out” is geared toward children ages two to seven. There is a five dollar fee per child which covers the cost of food. Space is limited so be sure to register your little sprout for their very own day out soon! For more information or to register, please call HealthLink at 440-8802.
“Little Sprouts Day Out” is sponsored by the Healthy Community Coalition and the OSU Extension.
