Have a Heart? Come to Norman Regional’s Prevent Event. Heart disease is the number one killer of Oklahomans, both men and women. Prevention and early detection can make a difference in treating heart disease. In honor of Heart Month, Norman Regional is teaming up with Sooner Mall and KFOR to fight heart disease during February.
The Prevent Event will take place from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 26 at Sooner Mall, 3301 W. Main St. Norman Regional’s team of heart experts will offer free heart disease risk assessments, blood pressure checks, and heart-healthy information. You could even win a heart-healthy prize such as a free heart scan, a $100 value! KFOR television reporter Joleen Chaney and meteorologist Emily Sutton will also greet visitors at the Prevent Event.
