Aramark Healthcare recently donated $25,000 to the Norman Regional Health Foundation to go towards the Health System’s recovery from the May tornadoes. This donation was earmarked for equipment.
“Healthcare is our business and we felt we had an obligation to help,” said Peter Evola, West Region Vice President for Aramark, Healthcare Technology.
Aramark Healthcare is a national company that provides services and support for more than 1,100 hospitals and healthcare systems in North America. Their Healthcare Technologies service is one of the largest independent providers of clinical and imaging equipment service.
The team from Aramark crossed statelines to personally deliver the donation. They presented their donation to Richie Splitt, Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer of Moore Medical Center, and Anne Clouse, Executive Director of the Norman Regional Health Foundation.
“Aramark has been partners with Norman Regional for 36 years and we wanted to make sure (Norman Regional) got back to where they were before the tornado struck,” said James Spann, Senior Vice President, Healthcare Team at Aramark.
“We are so grateful to Aramark for their generous gift to our disaster recovery fund. We appreciate their support of our recovery efforts. Aramark’s support during this challenging time means the world to us,” said Clouse.
