(L-R) Ryan Gehrig, vice president, chief administrative officer, Kim Anable, R.N. and Alyson Heeke, R.N., Manager Nurse for the Moore Family Birth Center
Moore Medical Center now has a guardian angel. Registered nurse Kim Anable was recognized as a guardian angel by a new mom who delivered her bundle of joy at Moore’s Family Birth Center.
The Guardian Angel program gives patients and their families an opportunity to make a meaningful gift to Norman Regional Health Foundation to recognize healthcare providers who deliver extraordinary care at the Health System. The program, which started in January, has recognized more than twenty guardian angels.
Marilyn M. Geiger, CPA, executive director for NRH Foundation, presented Anable with a certificate of recognition as a Guardian Angel. On hand at the presentation were Anable’s colleagues and Ryan Gehrig, vice president, chief administrative officer of Moore Medical Center.
Moore’s Family Birth Center welcomes about 60 new babies each month. Before the new family’s head home, mom is treated to a one hour relaxing massage and both proud parents share a steak meal!
Norman Regional Health Foundation is a not-for-profit, charitable organization that supports the vision of the Health System through the trust and generosity of its donors. The Foundation enhances excellent health care right here at home, now and for the next generation.
