Third time's a charm for Norman Regional Health System, which landed on the Best Places to Work In Oklahoma list for the third consecutive year. OKCBiz, a local business magazine, annually identifies and honors Oklahoma’s best employers through this list.
“We achieved this award because of the people that work at Norman Regional. Our employees are dedicated and loyal—always striving to provide the best in healthcare and the best in whatever service they provide,” said Norman Regional President and CEO David Whitaker. “Employees participate in department meetings, sharing ideas and suggestions. They make suggestions to leadership, and leadership listens and has implemented many of those employee suggestions.”
Best Companies Group collected data from the entrants and performed employee surveys to determine which companies had the best practices, ranking them accordingly. Each participating company also received an in-depth analysis of the data.
OKCBiz Associate Publisher Jeffri-Lynn Dyer said, “The Best Places to Work competition motivates local companies to strive for workplace excellence and recognizes those that have achieved it.”
OKCBiz will announce the rankings of the Best Places to Work finalists at its annual awards dinner on May 14th and in its Best Places to Work magazine publishing inside the June issue of OKCBiz.
