Therapy Dog

Meet Chowder, a Golden Retriever who visits with patients at our Behavioral Medicine inpatient unit twice a month. He loves to lay on his back and get his belly rubbed, and although he’s a retriever, his owner says the only thing he likes to retrieve is dog treats! Our patients love how he accepts them unconditionally and their time with him seems to take the focus off their problems for a little while. The mood of the entire of the unit is lifted when Chowder is around! ⠀

Medical Detoxification Services

Detoxification may be provided but is assessed with the Psychiatrist on a case-by-case basis for clinical appropriateness.
