The Teen Hero Volunteer Program is a service opportunity at Norman Regional Health System for youth ages 14 to 18. Participants are selected through an application process.
Teen Heroes also have the opportunity to participate in year-round monthly service activities.
Teen Heroes are sponsored by Norman Regional Health System and Cross Timbers Rotary.

Benefits of the Teen Hero Volunteer Program include:
Norman Regional Teen Hero Volunteer Program will accept applications year-round. Orientations are held once each fall, spring, and summer. The selection committee will review all completed applications. A limited number of applicants will be selected. Once selected, applicants will be required to complete the following:
Orientation – Each volunteer is required to attend a two-hour orientation session with a parent or guardian. A follow-up placement interview is scheduled soon after.
Tuberculin or TB Skin Test – Mandatory for all volunteers and given free of charge annually at the hospital.
Immunization Records – Proof of vaccination for rubella and mumps are a requirement.
Annual Education – Annual education is once a year and attendance is required by all active volunteers.
Dues –Teen Heroes pay a yearly membership of $1.
Uniforms – Uniforms are mandatory for all volunteers. The cost of the uniform top is $10.
