Norman Regional Hospital is home to the first hospital-based American Cancer Society Cancer Resource Center in Oklahoma. Thanks to a partnership with the American Cancer Society, Norman’s ACS Survivor Resource Center provides free support to cancer patients, their families and caregivers throughout the state. The center is staffed by certified American Cancer Society volunteers and trained Norman Regional Health System volunteers. It offers many free services to cancer patients, including:

  • Patient Navigator Program
  • Wigs
  • Prosthetics
  • Mastectomy bras
  • Turbans
  • Personal Health Manager

The Survivor Resource Center also offers the most up-to-date cancer information, cancer programs and services, clinical trial information and referrals to community resources. The Survivor Resource Center is located on the third floor of Norman Regional Hospital, 901 N. Porter Avenue. Visitors can enter at the Northeast Entry. The Survivor Resource Center is open to any patient diagnosed with cancer. All services are free. Norman Regional Health System offers this community resource thanks to the generosity of the American Cancer Society, Norman Regional Health Foundation, the Norman Regional Hospital Auxiliary and generous private donors.
