NORMAN, OK – Norman Regional's Breast Care Center has moved to a new location in the Women's Healthcare Plaza, 3440 R.C. Luttrell Drive, Suite 103.
The Breast Care Center will open for patient care on Wed. July 5, 2017. This new space gives the Breast Care Center double the amount of space, which allows its team to serve more patients each day. Other benefits include more patient privacy, better workflow for staff and a spacious, calming environment, said Cindy Barghols, supervisor of mammography.
"The Norman Regional Breast Care Center has a staff of mammography technologists who have a combined total of 216 years of breast imaging experience. Our radiologists are board certified and dedicated to breast imaging and diagnostics," Barghols said. "We have breast surgeons, a physician assistant and nurses who are very dedicated to providing the care patients are seeking for their total breast health."
Patients interested in scheduling a mammogram at the center can call (405) 307-2290 for an appointment.
In addition to the Breast Care Center, Norman Regional's lab has a Patient Service Center and Oklahoma Surgical Associates has offices in the new Women's Healthcare Plaza. The new plaza also houses the practice of Women's Healthcare of Norman, which occupies the second floor, and Norman Interventional Pain Management.
The Women's Healthcare Plaza is located next to the HealthPlex hospital and the Heart Plaza. The facility was designed as a warm Craftsman style building, with stone work, calming colors and soft lighting. Its interiors resemble a high-end hotel or spa and create a soothing atmosphere.
