Over the next several days, residents in Norman, Oklahoma will be given the opportunity to help local healthcare providers assess the current health status of the Norman area.

According to Sara Raney, Strategic Planning Specialist, a national research firm will be calling on approximately 100 individuals of the area between January 18th and February 15th. The purpose of this survey is to better understand how the coronavirus pandemic is affecting the health and well-being of people in our community.

The firm, Professional Research Consultants of Omaha, Nebraska, has partnered with Norman Regional Health System to conduct a Coronavirus Community Impact Survey.

Survey participants will be randomly selected and responses to the survey will be kept strictly confidential.  The complete telephone survey is approximately 5-10 minutes long.

As the survey process beings, Sara Raney is hoping area residents will take an active role.  “We really want to encourage everyone to participate if they’re called.  This is the community’s opportunity to give us the information that helps us address the health and social needs that are most important to our area,” said Sara Raney.

For more information about the community impact survey, residents may call Sara Raney at (405) 307-2143.
