Paula Price

NORMAN, OK - Norman Regional Health System has promoted Paula Price, MPH, MSN, RN to vice president of strategy and growth. As part of the executive leadership team, Price will help create a strategic vision that improves the profitability and long-term sustainability of Norman Regional. She will help prioritize business initiatives that are both cost efficient and growth oriented and will lead the health system’s strategic planning process.

"Paula possesses strong drive, intelligence and capability and is intentional and proactive with our community leaders; which is a vital link to our developing goals and strategic plan," said Richie Splitt, President and CEO of Norman Regional. "I am delighted our new vice president is being promoted from within our great organization, and truly value her devotion to our patients as well as her professionalism and foresight for enduring growth for our health system."

Price has served as the Health System's Director of Health Promotion and Community Relations for the past 19 years. Her healthcare experience includes nursing, public health, community relations, marketing and communications.

Paula received a Bachelor’s of Nursing from the University of the State New York, Albany, New, York; a Masters of Public Health from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and a Master’s of Nursing from Southern Nazarene University, Bethany, Oklahoma.

During her career Price has received numerous recognitions and honors for her work in public health, community nursing, community outreach and marketing. She was honored for her work in the wake of the May 20, 2013 tornado with a 2014 Healthcare Marketing IMPACT Award from Modern Healthcare and Advertising Age. Price received the Oklahoma City University Kramer School of Nursing Silver Salute Award. In 2016, the Norman Chamber of Commerce recognized her with the Women in Leadership award. Price currently serves on the United Way of Norman Board of Directors, and Norman Chamber of Commerce board.
