Norman Regional Health System will begin offering cardiology and orthopedic services in Purcell this month.

Norman Regional is partnering with the Purcell Wellness Clinic and Medical Spa, located at 128 W. Main St. 

Norman Regional’s Paul Ayers, MD, a board certified interventional cardiologist with Norman Heart and Vascular Associates, will be seeing patients in Purcell the first Friday of every month, beginning Friday Feb. 12.

Dr. Ayers attended medical school at the University of Oklahoma (OU) College of Medicine. He completed his residency at the University of South Florida. He then completed his fellowship at OU Health Sciences Center Department of Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology. He currently serves as the Department of Cardiology Medical Director.

Dr. Ayers specializes in:

  • Coronary artery disease
  • Carotid artery interventions
  • Peripheral artery atherectomy, angioplasty and stents
  • Pacemakers and defibrillators
  • General medical cardiology

Hillarie Kessler, MPAS, PA-C, a certified physician assistant with Orthopedic Surgeon James Bond, MD, at Ortho Central, will be seeing patients in Purcell every Friday morning, beginning March 5. Dr. Bond will also join Kessler in seeing patients in Purcell, when his surgery schedule allows.

Kessler graduated from Western State Colorado University in Gunnison, Colorado with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Oklahoma City University with a Master's of Physician Assistant Studies Degree. She is certified as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

Dr. Bond attended medical school at OU College of Medicine. He completed his residency at OU Health Sciences Center and completed his fellowship at the Southern California Orthopedics Institute.  

Kessler and Dr. Bond specialize in:
