Yes. 100%, yes!
Is there a cure for Sooner Fever?
There is no current cure for Sooner Fever. To treat symptoms, fans should wear as much Crimson & Cream as possible and share the hashtag #SoonerFever this season on social media.
What starts as a subtle “Boomer Sooner” chant can turn into full-blown Sooner Fever, so it’s important to recognize the signs.
Symptoms can include, but aren’t limited to:
- Crimson & Cream facial discoloring
- Hoarseness, occurring on Saturday, and occasionally Sunday nights
- Constantly shouting “BOOMER!” in crowded, public spaces
- Aversion to any shade of orange
- Heavy ring fingers
- Extreme tailgating
- Boomer Sooner playing on continuous loop in your mind
- Much, much more
All symptoms could escalate during play-off or championship games
There is no known cure for Sooner Fever. Not even your Norman Regional doctor or physician can treat your Sooner Fever.
