Spring of 2023, Norman Regional Health System gained 10 new residents. Seven of those matches are College of Medicine or College of Osteopathic Medicine graduates. Three of those matches are College of Pharmacy graduates.

On that day, a devastating EF-5 tornado tore through the city, leaving a path of destruction and claiming the lives of 25 individuals. Norman Regional Health System, in collaboration with the City of Moore and Moore Public Schools, is hosting a community day of healing and remembrance Friday, May 19 to share the stories and honor the courage of those affected.

Norman Regional EMSSTAT recognized by KFOR, Quail Creek Bank

You might remember the reunion of Norman resident Frances Tabler and her family with Norman Regional EMSSTAT paramedics Meagan Tompkins and Dustin McCoy in early March.
In late February, a tornado struck Norman, Oklahoma, leaving Tabler and her three children trapped inside their home with natural gas spewing from a broken meter. Norman Regional EMSSTAT paramedics, Tompkins and McCoy, were the first to arrive on the scene following the destructive tornado. They quickly moved bystanders to safety and accessed the severely damaged home without protective gear to safely evacuate the family, including their dog, Gracie.
