Debbie Bennett, OTR/L, is an occupational therapist who brings more than 24 years of experience to the rehabilitation group at the Physical Performance Center. When choosing what path to take within medicine, she said she chose OT because, “I wanted a medical discipline that approached healing in a holistic manner and addressed many aspects of an injury. Physical/emotional and spiritual concerns. Occupational therapy understands the importance of linking all aspects of a person’s life to have positive functional outcomes when dealing with serious medical or health issues.”
Debbie said her patients can expect an honest, empathetic therapist who will employ the best practice measures to treat a particular injury or diagnosis.
