My husband had an angiogram in the HealthPlex on Tuesday, May 24. The nurses on the second floor did an outstanding job of getting all the patients and their families in the basement during the storm warnings and went above their call of duty. No one seemed panicked. I just wanted to make sure you knew what a great staff of nurses you have. Our nurse was Donna. Thank you for taking such great care of us and others under the situation

Last Friday after my apartment caught fire, I was having trouble breathing so after being checked by EMT, I ended up going to Porter campus ER. The EMT guys were outstanding and made me feel very safe after an extremely crazy event. When I was taken to the ER, I do believe I received the best care in all of OKLAHOMA! I have always been glad to work for NRH, but after my visit on the other side of the desk… I now have to say I am proud I work with such OUTSTANDING STAFF. I was treated and made feel so safe. I just wanted to say thank you to the EMT and ER staff for doing a great job!

I am writing to commend you and your staff for the wonderful treatment my wife and I received during our recent stay. My wife and I were guests at your facility to witness the birth of our adopted daughter. Even though we were the adoptive parents, your staff allowed us to use a room, and with the permission of the birth mother, kept us informed and up-to-date as the situation progressed. Two nurses in particular, Laura and Brenda, went above and beyond their duties by making us feel so welcome and making the entire experience a good one for the birth mother. We have heard horror stories about how some adoptive families are treated by hospitals. We are not really a part of the process; we aren't the patients or family so we're easily left out. It can be a very awkward time for everyone involved. Yet the hospital experience is important for us as well. In our case it gave us two days to visit and bond with our birth mother. It will be a time that we will remember fondly for the rest of our lives.

My Alan is alive today because of your care in transporting him to (another facility) with such care and skill! The calm, professional service and support to family members was so appreciated! Alan is working hard in physical therapy and gaining strength daily. You all gave us hope and a chance for him to survive and we are forever grateful to all of you! We have been truly "blessed" because of all of you and what you dedicated your life to do in becoming EMS and paramedics and providing such loyal and professional service to this community.
