Great care at the Emergency Department by A grateful patient*
Tuesday, March 16, 2010
I was very happy with the treatment I received at Norman Regional Hospital’s Emergency Department. I had fallen, hit my head and required stitches. The doctor who saw me – Dr. Kruse – was very nice and did a beautiful job. I can’t even see a scar where the stitches were!
Wonderful ER Visit by Recent patient*

After experiencing chest and back pains for a couple of days, pains which I do not remember encountering before, I chose to go to emergency room at the new HealthPlex as a precaution, should the pains be heart-related. After extensive testing, it was determined the pains were intestinally related and medication was given to me for relief. From the time I entered the emergency room until the time I was dismissed, every individual that assisted me showed concern for my well-being in a very warm and pleasant manner. I really appreciated Dr. Angela Carrick’s cheerful personality, as well as her explanation of their findings, which gave me assurance that if anything major was wrong, the hospital and staff were there to assist me. We live west of I-35 and we are so thankful for this new facility, which gives us a much quicker access to medical care, particularly emergency situations.

Wonderful Nurses by Wife a patient*

The nurses on the post operation wing of Norman Regional Hospital are efficient, kind and most of all knowledgeable. My husband had a kidney removed and we were on the post operation floor. I spent many hours in hospitals with my parents and the care during this stay was the best I have experienced. All of the staff was responsive and caring. Some of the first names of the nurses we remember are Patricia, Cassie, Kristy and Dawn, but everyone was wonderful.
Awesome Experience at the HealthPlex by Husband of a patient*
Monday, February 1, 2010
I just wanted to write this letter of thanks for the awesome experience my wife and I had at the hospital. The HealthPlex was so amazing to my wife and to me in so many ways. I have to start with the building first. It was so clean and professional in appearance. At times I had to keep reminding myself I was in a hospital. It scored an A+ all the way around – from the food, to cleanliness and service. The nurses are really something! They never once acted like they didn’t care or show any signs of not wanting to do their job or help in any way. They were just like angels, just without the wings. My wife had several surgeries at the same time by one of the best physicians, in my opinion. We are so glad that she chose the HealthPlex for her surgery and recovery. I stayed both nights with her and it felt like I was in a five star hotel. We will recommend the HealthPlex to anyone who needs a healing touch in their time of pain or sickness. My wife and I wish to thank you, your hospital staff, and nurses for one of the most pleasant experiences we could have in our situation. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
