Ruby's Ride Revealed, Week Two

She’s quietly making her way through Norman, showing off her curves in an effort to get residents excited about the city’s Bike and Hike to Work Week. This week “Ruby” a shiny, red, retro-style bike is on display at Native Roots Market located at 132 West Main Street in Norman.

Norman will be taking part in the 53rd annual national Bike to Work Day by making a week out of the event. April 25th through May 1st will be Bike and Hike to Work Week in Norman. To kick off the week, the Healthy Community Coalition will host a Bike ‘N Talk with Mayor Cindy Rosenthal. The ride will start at Andrew’s Park family shelter on Saturday, April 25th at 9:30am.

Ruby will be given away to one lucky citizen that morning. Until then, Ruby will be on a ride of her own. You can follow her around town and register for your chance to win her this week at Native Roots Market on Main Street. For more information on Ruby’s ride, check out the Healthy Community Coalition’s website at
