NORMAN, OK - Norman Regional Health System patients may begin receiving a survey within 24 hours of their visit.

The two-minute, real-time survey will allow NRHS administrators to make sure their patients have the best care possible by recognizing employees or departments who give excellent care, or by having the opportunity to address issues in a timely manner.

The survey will only be administered to patients treated in the emergency department, radiology or clinics.

Patients who will be receiving a survey will be informed about it during their check-in and check-out processes.

The patients receive either an email or text message with a web-based assessment or a phone call using Interactive Voice Recognition (IVR). Up to three attempts will be made on days one, two and three if the patient doesn’t respond. On the third attempt, a message will be left with the patient informing them of how to get in touch with the call program and complete the survey.

The results of the surveys are available in provider scorecards and comparison reports, which provides Norman Regional an opportunity to rank and compare providers across key measures.
