Norman Regional offers the most current technology in diagnostic and medical imaging, comprehensive laboratory services, inpatient and outpatient services, nutrition, social services, support and pastoral care in one location. Our medical staff includes leading surgeons, certified medical and radiation oncologists and specialized nursing staff including a Nurse Navigator.
The cancer program at NRHS has been approved by the American College of Surgeons since 1993. Our most recent 3 Year Approval with six commendations out of nine possible was awarded in November 2007.
The multidisciplinary cancer committee at NRHS is responsible for goal-setting, planning, initiating, implementing, evaluating, educating and improving all cancer related activities at NRHS.
At NRHS, our entire team is looking out for you. Physicians representing surgery, medical oncology, radiation oncology, diagnostic radiology, pathology and other specialties as needed meet twice a month to discuss prospective cancer cases.
NRHS is also a member of the Association of Community Cancer Centers providing a roundtable for discussions of current information on all cancer related issues.
