Dr. Max Cieminski is a local, calling Oklahoma City, Oklahoma his home town. Dr. Cieminski attended Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine for medical school. Dr. Cieminski’s medical interests include studying Order Sets and Wilderness Medicine. His personal hobbies include backpacking, fishing, and being a coffee connoisseur. 

Melissa Evans-Brave,  DO,

Melissa Evans-Brave, DO

Dr. Evans-Brave comes to us from Jenks, OK, before going to Oklahoma State University School of Osteopathic Medicine for medical school. Before going to OSUCOM, Dr. Evans-Brave was a paramedic for over 10 years. Dr. Evans-Brave currently serves as the Medical Director for Gordon Cooper Technology Center in Shawnee, Oklahoma. She serves as the Medical Director of Coweeta Fire Department, Associate Medical Director of Tulsa Tech, and is an instructor in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and Hazmat Awareness. Dr. Evans-Brave has special interest in Prehospital Care, Education, and Toxicology. When she isn’t teaching or saving lives, Dr. Evans-Brave spends her time traveling, going to amusement parks with her family, and cycling.

Ali Hashmi, DO,

Ali Hashmi, DO

Dr. Ali Hashmi is a local to Houston, Texas. Dr. Hashmi has previous experience working as a scribe in the emergency department before he attended Midwestern University for medical school. He was a member of Sigma Sigma Phi Medical Honor Society, and currently serves as one of the Chief Residents. He has special interest in airway management. In his free time, Dr. Hashmi enjoys eating everything in sight and then taking a nap.

Casey Liston, DO, comes to us from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He attended Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he began developing his love for emergency medicine, trauma, and critical care. Dr. Liston enjoys spending time with his wife and dogs, going to the lake, and watching movies.

Dr. Sean Larsen, DO, hails from Orem, Utah. He attended medical school at AT Still University SOMA. Prior to medical school, Dr. Larsen was an Urgent Care Tech to help get his feet wet in medicine. Dr. Larsen enjoys ultrasound, disaster medicine, and wilderness medicine. Whether by hiking or riding motorcycles, Dr. Larsen loves to appreciate nature and be outdoors, and loves to be with his wife and 3 children.

Dr. Jonathan Wright, DO, hails from the Pacific Northwest. He attended Western University, COMP Northwest for medical school. Dr. Wright’s medical interests include Emergency Medicine and saving lives. His personal hobbies include backpacking, playing the ukulele, and spending time with his children. Dr. Wright has achieved the title of Chief Resident, and Best Dad of the Year for 10 years straight

Dr. Cassandra Clay is native to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she also complete her medical school, at Oklahoma State College of Osteopathic Medicine. In addition to Emergency Medicine, Dr. Clay enjoys International/Global Health and Tropical Medicine. Given the down time, Dr. Clay finds herself spending time outdoors, participating in yoga, reading, drawing, and spending time with her pets, in which she has received the award of “Best Cat Mom”.

Dr. Rachelle Haning, DO, calls Norman, Oklahoma her home. She attended Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine for medical school where she found a love for Ultrasound and Procedural medicine. Dr. Haning spends her free time cooking, doing all things outdoors, and watching Game of Thrones.

Dr. Madison Kilbury is from Tulsa, OK. She attended Oklahoma State University for her undergraduate degree, where she earned Magna Cum Laude, and then she stayed at Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine for her medical school, where she found her love for Emergency Medicine. Dr. Kilbury is fond of hiking, scuba diving, and her dog, Maggie.

Dr. Brittany McShane is a local to Edmond, Oklahoma. She graduated from Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In 2017, Dr. McShane was given the honor of DO Student of the Year. Dr. McShane also sits on a committee with the ACOEP, where she is Co-Editor of ACOEP Fast Track. In addition to Emergency Medicine, Dr. McShane has special interest in Ultrasound Medicine. Outside of the hospital, Dr. McShane is a huge soccer fan, which originated from being a soccer player in her home town of Edmond.

Kate Petrilla, DO

Dr. Petrilla, DO, is a native of Bradenton, Florida, where she made the short trip up to Georgia Campus Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine for medical school. Dr. Petrilla enjoys the outdoors, including mountain biking, snowboarding, fishing, wakeboarding, and Jeeping. Her love of the outdoors has motivated her to join the EMSTAT Bike Team.

Andy Phillips, DO, is from Williamsburg, IA. He attended Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine for medical school, where he received several awards and honors. Dr. Phillips has published literature on Paramedicine Situational Awareness, and strong interests in Emergency and Wilderness Medicine. Dr. Phillips is a family man, who enjoys doing anything outdoorsy, like hunting, fishing, and hiking.

In addition to Emergency Medicine, Dr. Baird has interest in Sports Medicine. In his free time, Dr. Baird enjoys hunting, fishing, sports, and especially Georgia Bulldog Football.

Dr. Junaid Riaz, DO, is from High Point, North Carolina. He made the trek down to Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine for his medical school, where his experience as an EMT helped prepare him for his journey. Dr. Riaz has an interest in Ultrasound and Emergency Medicine. When he isn’t saving lives, Dr. Riaz enjoys building computers and hiking.

Dr. Dylan Rommel, DO, is from the city of Tulsa, Oklahoma. When it came time for medical school, Dr. Rommel stayed close by, attending Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Rommel served as an EMT prior to residency, and received too many awards to count. When Dr. Rommel isn’t practicing emergency medicine, he enjoys being outdoors, building anything he can, and partaking in all things sports.

He attending Oklahoma State College of Osteopathic Medicine for medical school before joining the Norman Regional Emergency Medicine Residency Program. Dr. Kaya Smith, DO, hails from Cleveland, Ohio. She attended Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, PA. Dr. Smith is a member and leader in the ACOEP. Dr. Smith has a strong love for education, which shows in her publications and medical posters. She also has interest in infectious disease/parasitology, and women in medicine. When not in the hospital, Dr. Smith enjoys powerlifting, trivia, karaoke, board games, and traveling.

Dr. Eric Sullivan, DO, is from Oklahoma City, which is just a short drive up to his medical school, Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Sullivan enjoys Emergency Medicine, but has special interest in medical procedures and the use of technology in Emergency Medicine. Dr. Sullivan is your All-American guy, loving fishing, hiking, boating, fitness, the OKC Thunder, all levels of football, and the occasional international travel.

It was at OSU where Dr. Jones found special interest in Emergency Medicine and Ultrasound. In her free time, Dr. Jones loves dancing, spending time with her family, rock climbing, hiking, and watching movies.

Dr. Arthur Maduabia, DO, calls Woodbury, MN home, and can attribute his medical school education to Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Maduabia holds the title of 2017 AMSA SimOlympics winner. His free time is spent as an audio engineer and family man, where he loves to spend time with his two daughters.

Dr. Elizabeth Richardson, DO, comes to us from Roseburg, Oregon. She completed her medical school close to her home at Western University of Health Sciences in Oregon. Dr. Richardson’s healthcare experience includes working clinics, serving as a Medical Assistant and a Medical Biller. Dr. Richardson was the Western University Student Ambassador and served on her Student Government. She has competed in Medical Poster Presentation Competitions, and has published literature on cephalic fractures. Her interests include Wilderness Medicine and Disaster Relief, which helped her feel at home in the Norman Regional program. When Dr. Richardson has free time, she enjoys classical ballet, paddle boarding, camping, weather watching, and spending time with her family and friends.

Dr. Mark Sauerwald, DO, is from Choctaw, Oklahoma, who graduated from medical school at Oklahoma State University. Dr. Sauerwald’s interest include learning, fishing, being outdoors, and furniture making.

Dr. Shelby Wagner, DO, hails from Gulfport, Mississippi. She attending William Carey School of Osteopathic Medicine, which helped create her interest in Sports Medicine and Wilderness Medicine, pairing well with her love of Emergency Medicine. In her free time, Dr. Wagner enjoys fitness, baking, traveling, and scuba diving.
