Q: Do I need a physician’s referral to be seen in the Diabetes Education Center?

A: A physician's referral is required if an individual would like the diabetes education services billed through their insurance carrier. If a patient chooses to self-pay for an appointment then the referral is encouraged but not required.

If your insurance does not cover for diabetes education, please inquire about our self pay packages.
