We ask that people who suspect they may have COVID-19 call the State Health Department Coronavirus Hotline at 877-215-8336 or their primary care provider before visiting any medical provider. You can also contact our NRHS COVID-19 Hotline number at 405-515-4328.

Signs have been posted at Norman Regional Health System’s entrances and clinics asking those seeking care to inform our team if they have fever, symptoms of respiratory illness or been in contact with someone who was diagnosed with COVID-19.

Symptoms

Reported illnesses have ranged from mild symptoms to severe illness and death for confirmed COVID-19 cases.

The following symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure.

  • Fever
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath

If you develop emergency warning signs for COVID-19 get medical attention immediately. Emergency warning signs include*:

  • Trouble breathing
  • Persistent pain or pressure in the chest
  • New confusion or inability to arouse
  • Bluish lips or face

*This list is not all inclusive. Please call your medical provider for any other symptoms that are severe or concerning.
