Norman Regional Hospital Board Authority Announces Interim CEO

The Norman Regional Hospital Board Authority is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Richie Splitt, FACHE, to the position of Interim President & CEO, effective March 4, 2016. Splitt, a board certified Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives with more than 25 years of healthcare experience, has an extensive background in clinical, operational and service excellence within a multi-facility environment.

Since May 2013, Splitt has served as the Chief Administrative Officer of the Hospital and Norman Regional Moore. He has led the rebuilding efforts of the new Moore facility and established the EMSSTAT ambulance service in the community. Splitt has also been instrumental in the expansion of patient care services on the Hospital campus

Authority Board Chair, Tom Clote stated, "Richie will provide the continuity of leadership and organizational stability that Norman Regional staff and physicians require in order to continue providing exceptional care for our communities". Splitt will provide strategic direction and work collaboratively with leadership, physicians and staff to ensure system initiatives continue, as well as future growth and development opportunities.

Splitt said "I am humbled and honored by the Board's decision to allow me to serve our patients, staff and physicians. Norman Regional Health System has such great talent and I look forward to continuing our seventy-year legacy of life-saving care."
