Breast Care Center

Norman Regional Hospital’s Breast Care Center offers technologically advanced mammography and equipment including:

  • Screening and diagnostic digital 3D mammography
  • Breast ultrasound
  • Ultrasound and stereotactic biopsy

Additionally, the Breast Care Team provides a dedicated Nurse Navigator who serves as an invaluable resource for you, your physicians and family if needed. If you should have a positive finding, the Nurse Navigator will direct you to information regarding diagnosis, treatment and recovery.

Breast Surgery Clinic

The Norman Regional Breast Surgery Clinic helps patients who need breast surgery or treatment for breast diseases including breast cancer. Our providers include Kayla Barnard, MD, a fellowship-trained and Hidden ScarTM certified breast surgeon, John Chace, MD, an experienced surgeon who has provided his surgical skills to the community since 2005, and Kim Franks-Martens, APRN, a nurse practitioner.

The Breast Surgery Clinic offers a multidisciplinary approach to breast cancer treatment.

Breast Screening

Most lumps are not cancerous, but when a suspicious mass is diagnosed and treated early, the chance of a cure is very good. Mammography provides that early warning, especially when used in combination with a physical exam. Breast screening can be done through the Breast Care Center
