For hospitalized patients, the Meds-to-Beds Delivery Service provides bedside delivery of discharge medications, allowing patients to leave the hospital with everything they need for their recovery.

On the outpatient side, the Medication Therapy Management (MTM) Clinic offers personalized, one-on-one consultations with clinical pharmacists who review patients’ complete medication profiles to optimize outcomes and prevent errors.

Skip the pharmacy stop and head straight home after discharge. Our Meds-to-Beds program delivers your prescriptions directly to your hospital room before you leave.

A member of your care team will provide medication counseling and answer your questions—so you leave with peace of mind and a personalized care plan. As of June 1, 2024 we are cashless. Learn more about it here.

What is Meds-to-Beds?

Meds-to-Beds is a concierge delivery service designed specifically for our patients, with ease and convenience in mind. This in-house medication delivery service enhances your patient discharge experience, making your transition from hospital to home easier for you and your caretakers.

Norman Regional Hospital has a full service pharmacy on-site, allowing us to deliver your newly prescribed discharge medication(s) directly to your hospital room before you go home. A member of your care team will be able to answer any questions you may have about the new medication.

Once discharged, you can go straight home. Through the Meds-to-Beds Delivery service, you get to avoid waiting in line at the pharmacy and focus on healing.

Can the prescription costs be added to my hospital bill?

No, the Meds-to-Beds Delivery Service is an outpatient pharmacy service and cannot be added to your hospital bill. We will collect your copay when we deliver your prescription.

What type of payment is accepted for the Meds-to-Beds Delivery Service?

Do you accept my prescription insurance plan?

Norman Regional Health System accepts most insurance plans, and your prescription will be billed to your insurance plan directly. You are only responsible for the copay required by your insurer when services are rendered. You can verify your insurance to make sure you know what to expect.

What if I forget to bring my prescription insurance card with me to the hospital?

Norman Regional Pharmacy will gladly work with your current pharmacy to retrieve your insurance information.

How can I obtain refills for my prescriptions filled by the hospital pharmacy?

We recommend contacting your preferred pharmacy seven days before running out of your medication. Provide them with the Norman Regional Pharmacy phone number. Any hometown pharmacy can call us at 405-307-1964 to request a transfer of your prescription for further refills.

Medication Therapy Management (MTM) is a service in which a patient meets one-on-one with a clinical pharmacist to undergo a comprehensive review of the patient’s entire medication profile.

The pharmacist helps to optimize therapeutic outcomes, identify and prevent medication errors, and provide patient counseling.
