Norman Regional is operated by the Norman Regional Hospital Authority, a public trust that serves the public interest as a political subdivision of the City of Norman and the State of Oklahoma. Our Facilities and Services
The heart of our system is Norman Regional Hospital, located at the intersection of I-35 and Tecumseh Road in Norman, Oklahoma. This newly expanded 775,000-square-foot acute-care hospital is licensed for 326 beds and offers comprehensive services, including Cardiovascular Services, Spine and Orthopedic Surgery, Labor and Delivery,Inpatient Physical Therapy, Emergency Room Services and Women’s and Children’s Services. Norman Regional was the first in the Oklahoma City metro area to receive Chest Pain Accreditation with PCI (Percutaneous Coronary Intervention) from the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care (SCPC). Norman Regional's Obstetrical Emergency Department received first-in-the-nation accreditation by CIHQ (Center for Improvement in Healthcare Quality) as a Center of Excellence. This distinction marks the first time a health system anywhere in the country has been recognized for obstetrical emergency care. Norman Regional will now serve as a blueprint across the nation for other health systems hoping to be recognized for its OBEDs.
Norman Regional also operates two freestanding emergency room plus facilities:
- Norman Regional Moore: Situated on I-35 in Moore, Oklahoma, offering 24/7 emergency services, diagnostic imaging, lab services and physical therapy.
- Norman Regional Nine: Located at the intersection of Highway 9 and 24th Avenue Southeast in Norman, this facility includes a 12-bed emergency room, primary and specialty care clinics, imaging, lab services, physical rehabilitation, and more to meet the needs of the growing areas of east Norman, Noble and beyond.
Comprehensive Healthcare Network
Our system extends beyond acute care, with three urgent care centers, multiple primary care and specialty care clinics, diagnostic imaging centers and laboratories ensuring that patients across the region have convenient access to advanced healthcare services.
Norman Regional also provides outpatient diagnostic centers, medical transport services, physician services, centers of excellence and durable medical equipment supplies. Our primary care network supports patients in managing their everyday health, while our community wellness programs and employer health services empower individuals and businesses to take charge of their well-being.
We proudly operate Norman Regional EMSSTAT, the emergency medical service provider for Norman, Moore and unincorporated areas of Cleveland County, covering over 1,100 square miles. Our highly trained paramedics and EMTs are equipped to deliver life-saving care and emergency transport in the region.
