The Norman Regional Vizient/AACN NRP is a structured program that provides new graduate registered nurses (RNs) the opportunity to gain the necessary knowledge and skills to deliver safe, high-quality care within a particular clinical environment. This program ensures that new graduate RNs have the support necessary to make the transition from school to career a positive and successful experience.

The Norman Regional Vizient/AACN NRP is grounded in evidence-based practices (EBPs) and built on a curriculum developed by subject matter experts nationwide. This program focuses on helping you build a strong foundation for EBP to inform your clinical decision-making and improve our patient outcomes.
Our residency program offers new graduate RNs a supportive setting throughout the first year of practice. The comprehensive framework for the program curriculum is built upon the AACN’s Ten Domains of Nursing Practice, empowering newly licensed nurses to transition seamlessly into their first professional role.
The program provides new graduate RNs with the orientation, practical experience, support, resources and mentorship needed for success.
