Kirsten Crider, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker at Norman Regional’s Journey Clinic. She holds a Master of Social Work from The University of Oklahoma, where she gained a robust foundation to support her clinical practice.

Throughout her career, Kirsten has been recognized for her exceptional dedication and service, receiving accolades such as The Oklahoma Heart of Social Work Award for Exemplary Performance as a Social Work Field Instructor, the Caring More Award for Community Social Work and being named Employee of the Year at Valir Hospice.

Kirsten’s passion lies in aiding individuals to find innovative solutions to seemingly insurmountable challenges, guiding them toward a brighter path. Her philosophy is centered around the belief that everyone has the capacity for change and growth.

"Considering mental, emotional, and physical health aspects are crucial. In my practice, I incorporate a variety of psychotherapeutic methods tailored to individual needs, including cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, strength-based therapy, and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing)."

When she’s not empowering her clients, Kirsten enjoys shopping and stays active with scuba diving, water aerobics and Zumba.
