Same Day Surgery
Norman Regional's HealthPlex has a Same Day Surgery unit. This is for procedures that do not require an overnight hospital stay. Our team of physicians, nurses and clinicians strives for our patients to have a positive visit. Patients may meet with a registered nurse before surgery to answer any questions and gain information about the procedure and the patient's history. Additional testing may be needed, and can be conveniently done right at the Norman Regional HealthPlex, which has lab and imaging services on site. There is a dedicated waiting room on the second floor for your family and friends to wait during your procedure.
Robotic Services
Get back to your family and everyday activities faster with robotic surgery at Norman Regional. Our team of highly trained robotic surgeons can treat a range of complex conditions. Robotically-assisted surgeries require only a few small incisions allowing patients to recover faster, with less pain and most importantly dramatically reducing the recovery time usually associated with surgery. Some procedures utilizing our da Vinci Surgical System are even performed through a single small incision. Norman Regional's HealthPlex hospital, located at Interstate 35 and Tecumseh Road in Norman, is home to our robotic surgery program.
