Remote Patient Monitoring

The NRHS Remote Patient Monitoring program will help connect you to a nurse who will work to quickly address any health concerns. This program will help keep you out of the emergency room, lower your out-of-pocket costs, and steer you to your provider for follow-up care. The program operates through an easy-to-use mobile app that can be downloaded to your smartphone or tablet.

Benefits of Remote Patient Monitoring:

  • Connect with a member of your care team through secure messaging
  • Receive reminders to take medications and surveys while recovering at home
  • Instant access to videos and other educational materials
  • Allows your provider to manage your care in your own home
  • Alerts your care team when reported symptoms put you at risk of emergency room visit or hospitalization
  • Reduce cost of care associated with urgent care and emergency room visits

For primary care or specialty care appointments, appointments are set up through your doctor’s office just like your normal appointments. Please call your doctor’s office and request a virtual visit.

If you are a new patient and in need of a provider, please call our Community Call Center at 405-515-5000. Our Community Call Center helps connect you with the best provider based on your health needs.

Prescriptions

During or after a visit, providers can send prescriptions and recommendations for over-the-counter (OTC) medications to a pharmacy of your choice.

Billing & Insurance

At this time, Norman Regional Virtual Care’s on-demand urgent care does not charge or accept insurance plans. Your visit will be charged to your credit card and costs just $65.

For primary or specialty care virtual visits, your doctor’s office will bill your insurance as usual and you will only pay for the portion you’re responsible for (e.g., copay or deductible).

Safety measures

Our primary and specialty care clinics take every precaution necessary to ensure the safety of our patients entering our facilities, but if you are part of a vulnerable population at risk for COVID-19 or simply feel safer seeing your doctor from the comfort of your own home during normal business hours, scheduled virtual visits with your doctor are the best option for you. Of course, if you are in need of a doctor outside of normal business hours, urgent virtual care would also be a great option.

We take your privacy very seriously. Your live visit with a doctor is secure and HIPAA compliant. Visits are not recorded.
