The gastrointestinal System is a portal to most other processes within the body. In order to maintain medical, physical, and mental wellness this system needs to be operating optimally. The premise behind gut health is to mitigate inflammation. Common symptoms of inflammation include but are not limited to bloating, cramping, constipation, diarrhea, fatigue, irritable bowel syndrome, and joint pain as well as weight changes. Two laboratory tests are commonly ordered when evaluating the health and functionality of the gut. The “Microbiome” (stool study) and the “Food Intolerances” that cause inflammation.
- Food Intolerances: $149. A simple prick of the finger allows for testing both IgG and IgA antibodies to over 200 different foods. IgA antibodies provide protection from mucosal damage. IgA reactivity to foods indicates possible mucosal damage from a food.
Microbiome: $399. A stool study that measures pathogenic bacteria, yeast, viruses, and parasites within the gastrointestinal track can aid in detecting root causes of various illnesses.
MaxGen (Genetic Testing)
MaxGen provides a detailed handbook into your genetic makeup within three areas. Food, Fitness and Function. Tests may be purchased individually at $199 each or all three with “The Works” for $349 Results from the MaxGen testing allows for customized wellness plan tailored to your needs and goals.
