Sunil T. Mathew, MD, is a board-certified cardiologist. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at the State University of New York at Stony Brook and Veterans Affairs Medical Center at Northport and served his last year as chief resident. Dr. Mathew then completed two fellowships at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and Veterans Affairs Medical Center– the first for cardiovascular and the second for Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.

Dr. Mathew is licensed in Oklahoma, Washington, and New York. He is a member of the American College of Physicians, the Society of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance, the American College of Cardiology, and the American Heart Association.

    Was told he was changing my medication and I have not received notification from the pharmacy

    Dr. Mathew does not let you ask any questions without snapping at you and talking over you and interrupting you when you do have questions, especially when it's about things that have to do with your heart.

    My appointment was at 10:40. I checked in around 10:20. At 11:30 I had not been called so I went to the check in window and asked was I forgotten. He went back to the nurse's station and told me I'd be see in a few minutes. Once I finally got into the room the nurse was very pleasant and said the Doctor will be with you in a moment. 30 minutes later the Doctor finally came in and spent a whole 10 minutes, and I felt rushed and I had some concerns, and I felt like I was being brushed off.
