The team at Norman Regional’s Outpatient Behavioral Health believes that providing patients with the tools they need to promote mental and physical well-being will benefit our patients, their families, and their communities. We collaborate with each patient to develop an individualized service plan.
Types of behavioral health care
- Therapy: A therapist will help you process difficult behaviors, experiences, feelings and thoughts, and supports the development helpful coping skills and understanding for improved wellness.
- Psychiatry: A psychiatrist provides medication management to lessen depression, anxiety, and other symptoms.

Would I benefit from Outpatient Behavioral Health?
Depression and anxiety are not “just a part of life.” Symptoms can be reduced by following a plan just like high blood pressure or diabetes. Feelings of isolation, panic, loss of motivation, continued sadness, and change in sleep pattern are all symptoms of depression or anxiety.

Both the Outpatient Counseling Center and Senior Counseling Center are located within Norman Regional Moore. Norman Regional also houses an Inpatient Psychiatric Unit at Norman Regional Hospital on Porter Avenue in Norman.
