Chris Elsea Named Norman Regional’s 2025 Healer of the Year

Chris Elsea, a Healer for more than thirteen years, has been named Norman Regional Health System’s 2025 Healer of the Year.​

Norman Regional’s Healer of the Year ceremony took place in Norman Regional’s Auditorium inside the Norman Regional Education Center at Porter Health Village on Thursday, July 10, 2025. The ceremony began with honoring each of the 12 Healers of the Month from July 2024 to June 2025 and thanking them for their dedication and hard work. After that, it was time for Aaron L. Boyd, MD, MBA, FACHE, President and CEO Norman Regional Health System, to announce the Healer of the Year.

Healers of the Month from the previous fiscal year decide on the next year’s Healers of the Month and Healer and the Year. After a decision made by his Norman Regional peers, it was announced that Chris Elsea was the Healer of the Year for Fiscal Year 2025!

About Chris Elsea

Elsea, a dedicated member of our Materials Management/Supply Chain team, has been with Norman Regional for 13 years, bringing unwavering commitment and exceptional expertise in his field.

Before joining Norman Regional, he managed a distribution warehouse for 13 years where he was responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations including shipping, receiving, purchasing and sales. This previous experience prepared him well for his current position, where he plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain processes.

Elsea is originally from Richmond, Indiana, where he graduated from Centerville Senior High School. He furthered his education at Indiana University East, earning an Associate’s degree in Business Management. Since moving to this area 28 years ago, he has become an involved member of our community, both professionally and personally.

Outside of his professional life, Elsea enjoys spending quality time with his family. His favorite pastime is being with his wife Lindsey, their children and his grandson, cherishing the moments that bring joy and laughter into their lives.

When asked what he likes best about working at Norman Regional, Elsea consistently points to the people. The camaraderie and support he receives from his colleagues not only make his daily responsibilities more enjoyable but also enhance his commitment to the organization.
