About Brett Dees, MD

Brett R. Dees, MD, is director of the Oklahoma Headache Center and has been treating headaches and facial pain disorders for more than nine years. He was formerly the Medical Director of OU Physicians Adult Services and the Medical Director of OU Physicians Adult Neurology clinic. He completed his neurology residency and medical degree at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine and is board certified in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

He specializes in:

  • Tension-type headaches
  • Trigeminal autonomic cephalalgias
  • Neuralgias and fascial pain
  • Secondary headaches

Dr. Dees is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Headache Society. Dr. Dees has been involved in clinical research in migraine, as well as numerous other conditions. His academic interests include medically-refractory headache, and difficult-to-diagnose "spells."

    Over all he is a great doctor but wrote me a prescription that cost $100 per month to replace a prescription that cost $1.50. Since I live on social security I don't think I can afford it.
