About Kari Jo Shelton

Kari Jo Shelton has been a dedicated member of Norman Regional Health System since 2007. Throughout her career, she has worked in X-ray, CT, MRI, Mammography, and now serves as Breast Navigator.

Her passion for breast health is deeply personal. Coming from a family with a long history of breast cancer and being high risk herself, Kari Jo understands many of the concerns and emotions patients may face. She is committed to helping patients navigate their breast health journey with compassion, education, and support. Her favorite part of her role is helping patients feel informed and ensuring they never feel alone throughout their care.

Outside of work, Kari Jo can usually be found at the baseball field cheering on her boys, spending time outdoors with her family, fishing & kayaking. She enjoys spending time with her husband and family whenever she can.
