About Brett Dees, MD

Brett R. Dees, MD, is director of the Oklahoma Headache Center and has been treating headaches and facial pain disorders for more than nine years. He was formerly the Medical Director of OU Physicians Adult Services and the Medical Director of OU Physicians Adult Neurology clinic. He completed his neurology residency and medical degree at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine and is board certified in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

He specializes in:

  • Migraines
  • Tension-type headaches
  • Trigeminal autonomic cephalalgias
  • Neuralgias and fascial pain
  • Secondary headaches

Dr. Dees is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Headache Society. Dr. Dees has been involved in clinical research in migraine, as well as numerous other conditions. His academic interests include medically-refractory headache, and difficult-to-diagnose "spells."

    From start to finish the neurology clinic is hands down the best clinic NRH has. More advertising needs to be done to showcase how amazing these providers and staff are because they are truly top notch and the clinic itself is clean, well lit and welcoming.
