Candyse Brewer, APRN-CNS, is a certified advanced practice provider who has more than 17 years of experience in nursing, specializing specifically in cardiovascular patients. She has a special interest in:

  • Atrial fibrillation
  • Cardiomyopathy

  • Congestive heart failure

  • Hypertension
  • Hypotension
  • Venous insufficiency
  • Peripheral vascular disease

“I have always seen myself as a healer. I have dedicated my knowledge and skillset to helping others throughout my career as a nurse, from hands-on to improving the gap in education,” Candyse said. “I focus on guiding patients and their loved ones in understanding what their diagnosis is, along with what is happening now and what to expect in the future. I give guidance so that patients are able to make informed decisions on what their hopes are or what path they would like to achieve so that they can be actively involved in managing their health and more of an advocate for the journey we are embarking on together.”

When asked what her patients can expect from her, Candyse said she is here to listen, serve and be an advocate for the treatment plan that best fits her patient’s way of life.

“Keeping your health in mind with zero judgement,” Candyse said.

Candyse works with Archana Gautam, MD, and looks forward to getting to know her patients.

Aside from medicine, Candyse enjoys playing outside, coloring or baking with her two sons and drinking iced coffee with vanilla and cream.
