  • Orthopedic care of the hip, knee, shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand

“I enjoy watching my patients get back to doing the things they love,” he said.

Dr. Knutson decided to be an orthopedic surgeon because he likes the mechanical and physical nature of orthopedics.

“Orthopedics is unique in that it has the ability to have somebody who’s injured; their life is changed, and perform a procedure or even a non-operative treatment that makes them whole again and makes them potentially up to normal. Sometimes we can’t achieve all of that, but I really enjoy that. I enjoy people being broken, we fix them, and they can go back to doing the things that they love,” he said.

Dr. Knutson treats patients of all ages. He said he likes to treat “athletes, weekend warriors and everything in between.”

“I am a good listener and patients can have confidence that I will do everything possible to try to get them better,” he said.

Dr. Knutson and his wife, Kristen, have two children, and a bunch of dogs and horses. He enjoys bass fishing, tortilla chips, Christmas, and anything on the grill. His favorite book is “Braveheart” and he loves traveling to Captiva, Florida or any lake.

He also likes to occasionally take a break from fishing and bake instead.

“I make sinful sticky buns,” he said.

Dr. Knutson is accepting new patients.

He sees patients at Ortho Central @ YFAC, 2201 Trae Young Drive, Suite 201, and at Ortho Central – Midwest City, 1624 Midtown Pl., Suite A in Midwest City. Call 405-360-6764 to schedule your appointment at either location.
