Norman Regional Hospital Authority Welcomes Two New Board Members

NORMAN – The Norman Regional Hospital Authority, the governing board of Norman Regional Health System, welcomed two new members in May.

The new members are David Nimmo, who is retired from serving as President & CEO of Chickasaw Nation Industries (CNI) and Andy Sherrer, Regional President of First United Bank – Oklahoma City Region.

David Nimmo began with the Chickasaw Nation as General Counsel and business advisor to the tribe and soon became Chief General Counsel of CNI. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma.

Andy Sherrer has worked in banking with organizations such as Republic Bank and Trust, the Moore Norman Technology Center and First United Bank. He is a lifelong Norman native and Norman High School graduate. He has a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Oklahoma State University and a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma’s Price College of Business.

The mayor of the City of Norman appoints citizens to the health system’s board and the city board motions to approve their appointment.
