Laura Velez, RN, APRN-CNS, is a board certified clinical nurse specialist. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma with both a Bachelor’s of Science and a Master’s of Science degrees. She spent 18 years as a critical care nurse and maintains her critical certification. She has worked for 14 years with Dr. Muhammad Salim, an interventional cardiologist, as a mid-level practitioner.
