Ricardo “Rich” Rodriguez, MD, is a dedicated and compassionate physician at Norman Regional Urgent Care - Porter Health Village.
Dr. Rodriguez is board-certified in family and integrative medicine. He earned his medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine, where he received three years of training in obstetrics and gynecology.
He initially chose his field to provide comprehensive care for the entire family, from delivering babies and performing C-sections to offering end-of-life care. However, Dr. Rodriguez discovered that providing immediate and urgent medical care to patients who do not have or cannot see their primary physician has been the most rewarding aspect of his career. He completed his residency in family medicine at Emory University.
Urgent care patients can expect exceptional care and attention from Dr. Rodriguez: “I will provide the same care I would want for my family.”
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Rodriguez enjoys working on cars and spending time with his family. He and his wife have eight children together.
