Norman Regional Health System Debuts New Mission & Vision

Norman Regional Health System has experienced a lot of transformation, looking to grow into the future with every strategic step.

Ushering In a New Era for Norman Regional Health System

Along with the completion of the Inspire Health project, Norman Regional has experienced changes in leadership. The health system has moved from having one CEO to two Co-CEOs, marking an emphasis on being jointly physician led and professionally managed, with a focus on physician alignment, quality and efficiencies. The executive team is focusing heavily on agility and synchronicity with each other and across their teams.

With the evolution and expansion the health system has experienced, it was only right to begin this new chapter of healing with a refreshed mission and vision. Leadership gathered feedback from employees, who we call Healers, to gain insight into their view of the health system, their work, and what they see for the future of the organization.

With Healers’ help, the new mission and vision will better align with the health system moving into the future, and assists in ushering in a new era of healthcare at Norman Regional.

Growing Into New Communities and Expanding Services

Norman Regional has stepped into the Urgent Care setting, establishing three Urgent Care clinics in our Norman, Moore and newly established Goldsby locations, providing access to care today, not next week. Patients pay the same co-pay as a primary care visit at Norman Regional Urgent Care clinics.

Moving further south on I-35, Norman Regional established a facility in Purcell in 2023, offering primary care, rotating specialties, OB/GYN care, and imaging and laboratory services at Norman Regional Purcell.

Norman Regional Health System also acquired Women’s Healthcare of Norman on January 1, 2025. This partnership marks a significant step forward in enhancing access to comprehensive women’s health services in the Norman community and beyond.

Women’s Healthcare of Norman has been a trusted provider of obstetrics and gynecological care for years, and its alignment with Norman Regional will allow patients to continue to receive the exceptional service they rely on, now supported by expanded resources and advanced technology.

Inspire Health

Norman Regional started with unveiling the vision of Inspire Health in 2019, a transformational plan for healthcare in the communities we serve. Inspire Health was a vital step in ensuring our organization and our communities grow stronger and healthier.

After the Inspire Health project was made public and approved by Norman’s City Council, the dominoes for each pillar of the project began to fall into place between 2019 and 2024.

Norman Regional Nine

The first completed project of the Inspire Health project was Norman Regional Nine, Norman Regional’s second Free-Standing Emergency Department, or ED Plus.

This cutting-edge facility has evolved into a vital healthcare resource for patients in the area, offering emergency services, outpatient physical rehabilitation, a primary care and walk-in clinic, cardiology, imaging, and lab services.

In October 2024, Norman Regional Nine celebrated TWO years of operations, successfully expanding care and serving the communities of southeast Norman, Noble and the surrounding communities.
