Contact Our Team

Our Integrated Marketing team includes public relations professionals here to assist journalists. Members of the media can reach our public relations team by emailing nrhscorpcomm@nrh-ok.com or calling 405-307-2146.

The public relations team can help journalists by:

  • Offering accurate and up-to date information about Norman Regional
  • Connecting reporters with experts in the medial field including physicians, nurse practitioners, administrators and more
  • Providing images including b-roll to help tell your story visually
  • Arrange for filming at a Norman Regional campus, if approved

A member of the Integrated Marketing team must accompany members of the media at all times while on our campus. For patient privacy, any unauthorized filming or photography is strictly prohibited. People who are filming or taking photographs on our campus without permission from Integrated Marketing will be escorted off campus by our Security team.

After Hours Requests

If you are calling between the hours of 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Friday or on the weekends, please call our Switchboard at 405-307-1000 and ask to speak with PR on call. This process is for members of the media only.

Patient Condition Reports

Norman Regional is bound by law to protect our patient’s privacy. If a member of the media provides a correct, full first and last name of a patient, we may be able to release a one-word condition update. The word used for condition updates are:

  • Undetermined - patient is awaiting assessment
  • Good - vital signs are stable and within normal limits. Patient is conscious and comfortable. Indicators are excellent.
  • Fair - vital signs are stable and within normal limits. Patient is conscious, but may be uncomfortable. Indicators are favorable.
  • Serious - vital signs may be unstable and not within normal limits. Patient is acutely ill. Indicators are questionable.
  • Critical - Vital signs are unstable and not within normal limits. Patient may be unconscious. Indicators are not favorable.

Names and Locations

Norman Regional Health System is the full and official name of our entire organization. We are referred to as either Norman Regional Health System or Norman Regional.

Norman Regional Hospital is our flagship hospital located at 3300 HealthPlex Parkway in Norman. It is no longer called the HealthPlex.

Norman Regional Moore is our location at 700 S. Telephone Road in Moore. It is no longer called Moore Medical Center.

Norman Regional Nine is our location at 2000 Ann Branden Blvd. in Norman. It is located off Highway Nine.

OurCorporate Office is located at 4240 28th Ave NW in Norman. The building sits just off Flood in the Franklin Business Park.

Our historic campus is called the Porter Campus. It located on Porter Avenue and Robinson Street. This space is home to the Education Center and the Porter Urgent Care. Acute care services within the former hospital have been decommissioned.
